OUR STORY
Sugar Maple Golden Retrievers was founded out of love for Golden Retrievers. Growing up with many different dogs in our households we noticed early on that Goldens are literally a different breed. Their sweet temperament, love and playfulness sets them apart from other breeds and is the reason they have a great reputation as family dogs.
In 2020 we were able to get the first Golden Retriever that we could call our own, her name is Winter. That same year we got out of the military, bought a house on 5 acres and moved back home to Northern Michigan. With more space to sprawl out it was a no brainer, we were going to add to our family. We have since added 2 more Golden Retrievers to our household, Euchre and Molly. Our passion and love for Goldens is what has led us to breed them. We genetically test all of our Goldens.
